It's a game plugin, you have to compile the project and create a dll named "Game.dll".
"Game.dll" need to be in the project root folder.

Then, launch Maratis, open the project, and the plugin should be on.
To see the result, launch the game using pacman icon (on top).

Maybe this tutorial can help : http://www.maratis3d.org/?p=500

[...] An additional panel is visible in the Material properties : You can choose between 3 modes for Maratis materials : Fixed is used for old generation 3d using multi-texture only (mostly deprecated today). Standard is the simplest mode, it creates a classic material using diffuse, specular, normal-map and emit. CustomShader is the mode to select if you want the material to use a specific shader, shader samples here. [...]

Spectacular! Now I can use Maratis!

I got it working after messing around a bit to get libraries to work under 64bit. Just had to install 32bit libs!

Anyone else wanting to do the same can try running MaratisEditor from command line and then see what library it's complaining about and then sudo apt-get install libthemissing:i386

Cheers!
